Timeless spaces for relaxation
Space was no object in this complex but elegantly simple bathroom design project.
This bathroom design completed, and certainly became a much loved part of the 3 storey large Victorian home renovation project in the beautiful Peak District UK.
Major alterations were carried out to the house as a whole and to accommodate the new bathroom design.
New heating and hot/cold water systems were designed and fitted with traditional period reproduction radiators and heated towel radiator, providing energy efficient heating solution.
Structural floor redesign provided the platform to accommodate all the bathroom requirements; which comprised of a split level area. Separated by a curved stainless steel step and dark gray porcelain tile finish.
Curves were also incorporated into the wall design with illuminated recessed feature display boxes.
A clinical white / black colour theme, with suitable tile configuration was decided upon keeping a connection with the late 18th century period and a clean fresh feeling.
Other features included inverted wall to floor/ceiling joints, deep window reveals with curved sills and edges. Optional lighting settings creating a choice of mood and ambiance. Air flow and moister extraction system.
